The grounds of the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula include a locomotive, tipi burner, and 13 other historic structures.

A century ago, two major events greatly impacted the lives of everyday Missoulians: World War I and the Spanish Flu epidemic.  “Supporting the War Effort: Missoula’s Homefront During WWI”, an exhibit at the Historical Museum, gives visitors insight into what life was like in the Garden City as war raged in Europe, and the country rallied in support of our troops.
